About iCloud Sync

Yondo's iCloud Sync keeps your tasks automatically in sync across devices that use the same Apple Account (a Premium feature). Your data is stored only in your iCloud (CloudKit) and is never sent to our servers.

Checklist to start with

If sync is not working, check the following on every device you want to sync, in order.

How to turn on iCloud Sync

  1. Open Yondo and go to the Settings screen.
  2. Turn ON the "iCloud Sync" switch.
    • If you see a "PRO" badge, this is a Premium (Pro) feature. Tapping the switch opens the purchase screen.
  3. Repeat the same steps on every device you want to sync.
  4. You can also confirm in iPhone Settings → your name → iCloud → "See All" that Yondo's switch is ON.

Frequently asked questions

A task I added doesn't appear on my other device right away

Syncing with iCloud is not instant and may be slightly delayed. iOS optimizes sync timing based on battery and network conditions, so this is normal, not a bug. Wait a little, or close and reopen Yondo on each device to help it sync sooner.

Can I sync with a device using a different Apple Account?

No. iCloud Sync works only within the same Apple Account. Data is not shared across different accounts.

Will turning sync off delete my data?

No. Turning it off simply stops syncing on that device; the tasks on the device remain. Data already in iCloud or on your other devices is also kept. Turning it back on resumes syncing.

What happens on a device that isn't signed in to iCloud?

Sync won't run, and the app works safely in local (on-device) mode. Once you sign in to iCloud and turn sync on, syncing begins.

Will synced content appear in the widget and Lock Screen?

Yes. The widget and shortcuts read the same on-device data, so content brought in by sync is reflected.

If it still doesn't work

Note: iCloud Sync is a Premium feature. For purchases and restores, see the Upgrade option in Settings.
